This patient wanted her teeth to be straighter. We chose Invisalign to make the aligners.

This patient came in asking for veneers to improve her smile. What she needed was orthodontics. These photos show the transformation.

This patient had been through ortho once before and wasn’t happy with the relapse. She could have gone back into wires and brackets but opted to accept the invisalign alternative.

This patient has had extensive dental work done in the past. It is now wearing out. The treatment plan for her is to extract her upper teeth and make her a denture for the short term. She then had 6 implants placed in her upper jaw and these were allowed to heal. In the end a HYBRID Implant retained overdenture is made. It gets screwed to the implants. One picture shows the screw holes at time of insert, and another picture shows those holes filled in with tooth colored filling material. The patient is not able to remove this. We treated the lower jaw with a conventional partial.

The before and after photo's are an example of a crown implant. The before image shows a patient with a healing collar that stays in place for at least 6 weeks or until the tissue is completely healed around the color. The after image shows the inserted crown

The before and after photo's are Dental Implants which illustrates the restorative option that most closely replicates the lost tooth. A titanium, or titanium alloy object (tooth root shaped) is placed in the bone to take the place of the root of the tooth. Time is allowed to pass while the bone grows in around the implant, then the dentist places crowns on the implants to restore the lost chewing function and fill in the gaps in the smile and preserve the bone. The bone would have undergone a shrinking process for the remainder of the patients life had the implants not been placed. The photos are the before and after of this case.

........................................................................................................................................................................................

This patient had trouble keeping his lower denture in place because his lower ridge had shrunk. The solution to stabilizing his denture was placing implants in the front part of his lower jaw.

These image illustrates the implant posts, which the denture is attached. Due to the limited bone he had remaining only 3 implants could be placed.

The under side of the denture is fitted with "caps" that snap over the brass colored implants seen in the photo. We made a new upper and lower denture, which enhanced the patient’s smile and significantly stabilizing his lower denture.

........................................................................................................................................................................................

We began dental work on this patient roughly 2 years ago. Her initial complaint was that she was not satisfied with the bonding procedure she had several years back.

It was decided that we would remove the bonding from her upper front teeth and restore them to there natural color and tooth structure by using a whitening procedure. We also decided that she would need an orthodontist to align her teeth.

Finally we decided to replace the missing back teeth with implants to complete the procedure.

The dramatic before and after photo's of the dental work this patient received.

This patients natural teeth along with the bone surrounding the teeth grew up to much. The photo's illustrate how we extracted the teeth and removed the excess bone. Four implants were placed and a bar connecting the implants was fabricated. A lower denture was designed to snap onto the lower bar along with a conventional upper denture.

These photo's are an example of bonding and the dramatic effect this procedure can have on your smile. The before front tooth was fractured in a Frisbee accident and the after photo shows the repair.

The series of photos show spaces between this patients teeth which she did not like. We call these spaces diastemas. In this case we chose to eliminate the spaces with a tooth colored bonding material in one appointment. Closing the spaces gave her smile a more mature look.

This young guy has rotated upper front teeth.   Orthodontics would be one solution but the patient preferred a quicker route.  These two teeth were reshaped and restored as seen in the after image.

........................................................................................................................................................................................

This young guy was playing hide and seek and was found by dad. Unfortunately he was hiding next to a pipe. As he was tagged on the back of his head he broke his tooth on the pipe.

Below you will see fixed bridge solutions for missing teeth. To view Missing teeth replaced by implants please view images under the Implants Tab.

This patient had a tooth that was crowned. The crown had extensive decay around it rendering it non-restorable. We elected to extract the tooth leaving this space. A gap like this will show in most peoples smile which was unacceptable to the patient. In this situation we replaced the missing tooth with a bridge. The photos below show two views; one view of the biting surface and another from the side. We restored this patients full chewing ability. Losing a single back tooth like in this case can reduce the effective chewing surfaces by about 20%.  The final result matches the adjacent teeth.

Here is a young lady that Is congenitally missing her upper lateral incisors.   In the after  image the spaces were filled with Maryland bridges.  This type of bridge has extensions that attach to the backs of both adjacent teeth.

........................................................................................................................................................................................

This patient is missing a front tooth. While a dental implant is a solution a 3 unit bridge was what we did here.

........................................................................................................................................................................................

This patient presented with a fractured root. The tooth indicated by the arrow had to be extracted.

When the crowns on the 2 front teeth were removed we were surprised by how dark the remaining tooth structure was.

This last image shows the final restorative work on the 4 upper front teeth. Four teeth were included to better control the esthetics.

This patient has been visiting our practice for years to have his teeth cleaned. With each visit we would discuss the need to correct his broken down teeth.

If you look at the picture with the braces closely you can see that the front teeth both upper and lower are grinding into each other and breaking down.

The reason why there is so much wear on these teeth is because the patients lower jaw, teeth, and muscles were out of balance.

The goal of the orthodontics was to move the upper six front teeth forward over the lower front six teeth to correct the patients bite.

The bite and wear damage were corrected with a combination of onlays, bridges, and crown.
The patient face muscles now feel more comfortable and he has a restored smile.

This patient was interested in whiter teeth. She wanted her amalgams replaced. When she whitened her teeth were excessively sensitive. We accomplished her desire for whiter teeth with porcelain veneers and onlays.

This patient has gone through a couple of phases of treatment. Initially we had some old bondings(before smile1) that needed changed(after 1). These restorations lasted about 7 years before they started to fail (Smile ). This time we chose to restore the smile using porcelain. (max arch)(mand arch) these images are before we made the porcelain restorations. (one week postop smile) (max arch 1 week post op) and (portrait 5) are all of how the case finished out. We wanted a bigger brighter smile. Porcelain is least likely to stain and retains its shine.

........................................................................................................................................................................................

This patient sustained a traumatic event to her front teeth. She was unhappy with the repairs that were done. There were a number of procedures involved over the course of her care. Root canals to treat non-vital teeth, core buildups to strengthen those same teeth, orthodontics to move the teeth into better position, and porcelain crowns and veneers to finally restore the teeth and restore her smile.

....................................................................................................................................................................................

This patient was unhappy with her smile. In her before photos you can see teeth with dark fillings and some tooth colored fillings that just don’t match the rest of the tooth/teeth well. She had a couple of teeth that were hopeless and had to be extracted. Implants were placed in these areas. Her bite was evaluated and it was determined that she would benefit from a mouthguard. Ultimately we restored her upper front 10 teeth with porcelain restorations. Overtime we are replacing the unsightly silver/mercury fillings with tooth colored fillings where appropriate. Some of the larger heavily filled teeth are getting crowns.

........................................................................................................................................................................................

This patient also was unhappy with the way her smile looked. She underwent some orthodontic treatment to correct the alignment of some teeth. We also did some recontouring on the gingival around some of the upper front teeth. The gingival recontouring is done with a laser and is depicted in the images with the slightly dark band around the upper front teeth. Our goal was to balance out the contours so that the pick gingival appear more symmetrical. Ultimately here we fabricated porcelain restorations on her upper front 10 teeth.

These two photos are back teeth. The before and after photo shows these teeth restored using a tooth colored filling material. These fillings were placed in one appointment.
